• I'm Black and no, I don't like this show at all....here's why!

  This show should just be renamed to "White Hate in America"....or "White People are Evil," because the only hate addressed in this show is the hate from backwoods White people who in no way represent the overwhelming majority of White people in America. They never show any of the hate that comes from other ethnic/religious groups in America, and they are most DEFINITELY out there. I guess wanting to "kill white cracker babies", Christians, Jews, Women, and etc. isn't important unless it can somehow be tied back to white people being the racist. As a black woman who was born and raised in North Carolina the most racist and intolerant people I've dealt with have been blacks - not whites. So yeah, screw this show and it's one sided agenda to make average everyday non-racist white folks feel horrible about themselves and guilty for some crap they had nothing to do with, and more importantly - screw this show for giving black people the false impression that they should be more worried about some random white racist killing them then being beaten or shot to death in the Wild Wild West that is the streets in black neighborhoods. The few black friends I've known who were murdered where murdered by another black man over material goods or bruised egos.....not by some racist KKK guy. -_-

  Whitey Did It! - It's All You Need to Know Basically. I thought in 2015 we might see an honest open portrayal of hate, bigotry and racism in America. Alas, this documentary portrays basically, haters are only white who target others groups. Basically, Blacks, Sikhs (Muslim stand-ins if guess?), LGBT Community etc... are only targeted by whites. While no one disagree's with the groups noted are targeted, often by whites, they sure ignored the Black Hate, their racism, and bigoted ways. That is one elephant in the room they ignored. For some reason, this documentary does not cover the massive black hate that we see today. Guess the Black Institutionalized Hate of Whites, Jews, LGBT's, Immigrants, anything or one that is Nonblack. is not worthy of mentioning. The repeated outlandish comments by Black leadership, Black Entertainment which often promotes hate and violence, Black Gangs who target whites purposely or the rhetoric in their churches and mosques that ferment ugliness towards other. Often the hate is expressed openly and overt by these people and groups which are numerous and keep getting a pass by media and much of society. Guess being black means you can not be a racist, bigot or hate? While they showed a token picture of Fred Phelps group of jackals, promoting their brand of religious hate for gays, they never noted it was a Christian Church, much less recognized by the US Government. The hate within many Christian Church's that is spewed from the pulpit weekly is not even noted, as it needed to be. Many churches preach hate of LGBT, Blacks, Immigrants, often teaching Black Liberation Theology which is code for white hate etc. So the second elephant in the room is the Christian hate that infects our country and infects our politics with their hate with politicians pandering to them. So how much more American Hate can you get than the largest group in the US where over a 1/2 preach hate, racism, and bigotry, while demanding an indirect religious test of politicians before they will vote for our potential leadership. Where was the exposure of the daily hate upon Immigrants that is occurring, mainly targeting the Latino population, but not exclusively? How about the hate Jewish people experience by others groups and the hate promoted Jewish Zionist Groups, that was ignored as well. I was surprised they did cover the vast amount of Hate toward LGBT community or anyone perceived as such. It seemed fairly good coverage, I did not know it was as vast as it was in relation to LGBT population or how and why it was so under-reported. Yet much of that hate comes from the pulpits with some people just needing someone to hate that is safe to hate, socially acceptable to hate around the water cooler, bars, place of worship, sports or bonfires etc. The documentary really came off as a condemnation of whites and their unrelenting hate, they threw in some tokens, to try and deflect such determination. Regardless the first 37 Minutes was 100% whites being the haters with the LGBT being a white attacked by an undefined race or I missed the race. Regardless that was only from 37 minutes to 41 minutes with remaining 2.5 minutes being a rehash of people in the documentary as the credits rolled. A biased Documentary with Selective Portrayal of Hate in the USA, all groups covered were abused only by whites, while some of the largest hate mongers and fomenter's of ignorance were ignored and sidestepped. The fear of Black backlash and Christian outrage won again, the facts and reality of Hate in America lost as usual. So nothing new here, just a new year with the same old propaganda and half-truths.

• Not bad decent doc

  Shines a small light on extreme modern racism in America. Its basically something you would see on t.v. like Discover or History Channel It only runs around 43mins or so. It could have been more informative and investigated more groups that you typically do not hear about. Do not pay attention to the previous reviews especially the ignorant one with the title "Whitey Did It! - It's All You Need to Know Basically" I can tell you that is complete bull and also the majority of hate crimes are committed by the majority who are whites. That is just common sense and a hard reality Just watch for yourself and formulate your own opinion.

• Hate is hate ..........

  ........ and it doesn't matter who does it .... it's still hate! This is a fine look into present and past acts of hate against others in the land of the free -- America. You never know when or where or by who, hate will rise to the surface and cause many innocents to suffer. This documentary looks into victims who suffered and the perpetrators that targeted their hate on the victims. I only wish the producers and writers had spent some of the show looking into the root cause of hate or rather it's foundations. So often hate is found coming from the pulpit in every religion on earth! Here is the root and the fertilizer of hate. And I bet everyone who committed these acts of hate had religion in their background!!

• Truthful But Misleading

  The shameful truth is that there's indeed white supremacists, homophobic psychopaths etc. in the world and the US. This documentary covers a few cases of so called "hate crimes". It rightly points out that there are groups such as white supremacists who are prone to them This is however, a unfortunate fact of life. Some will always find a group to blame/hate. What this SPLC hype doesn't say is many of the SPLC's "900 hate groups" in the US aren't. Many are law abiding and peaceful yet are STEREOTYPED by the SPLC as violent extremists simply because of the actions of rare psychopaths that in truth are as likely to wind up in government or law enforcement as in a militia. For the SPLC and friends to stereotype people in this way makes them as big a "hate group" as any. Their materials encourage police to hyperventilate and treat patriots as violent simply for knowing the law or their rights under it. It's wrong to stereotype blacks as thieves, postal workers as unstable shooters, or "sovereign citizens" and "constitutionalists" as "hate groups". There aren't that many "hate groups". Drop the stereotypes and just treat criminals like criminals and law abiding citizens as innocent until proved guilty.
