Green Team (2008) Reviews
Funny but NOT for the entire family...
This is a short video that I found online. It features Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and Adam McKay as "th Green Team"--three guys who are out to save the planet and encourage people to care for the planet. But, since they are idiots, they spend most of their time giving really bad advice and beating up people--even if they are totally innocent. I particularly liked seeing them beat up the guy who drives a Prius--because, although it's a hybrid car, it STILL uses gas! What I also liked is that although this supposed to be about saving the planet, the viewers do NOT need to be tree-huggers. And, it's a nice parody that makes fun of the over-zealousness some have about environmentalism. By the way, this video is NOT for everyone. The language is pretty rough and there is an inappropriate reference to rape. Beware before viewing.
Not gonna shut up, sorry Green Team
"Green Team" is a 3-minute live action short film from 2008, so this one will have its 10th anniversary next year and it is a Funnyordie production. Very short movie we have here, but this is nothing too uncommon for FoD. Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are probably the most known in here, but funnily enough Adam McKay, the least known, is the Oscar winner in this film. The title already gives away that we watch a bunch of guys attack (verbally or physically) other people that do something that hurts the environment. At the same time, the guys in the green shirts keep doing all kinds of real crimes like battery or even rape while at the same time wondering if they are homosexuals. A lot of the comedy is fairly awkward, fairly random too and while there is a funny moment here and there, especially in the first 90 seconds, it is just not good enough of a watch for me to recommend it. i suggest you go for something else instead. This is a Die.
