The Karlsson Brothers is a "confusion" comedy about two identical-twin brothers, each initially unaware of the other's existence. One brother is a successful, perfectionist lawyer living in Stockholm. The other brother lives in the North of Sweden with a wife and children, and is a notoriously unfaithful ne'er-do-well. The brothers meet for the first time as they go through their deceased mother's estate. Their meeting leads to a series of challenging mix-ups, turning both their lives on end. The brothers' differences prove gradually to be a source of strength, and their newfound friendship will change their lives forever.

  • American style comedy

    This is a mildly entertaining film. It starts out as a European art film and ends like an American soap. This is true both in terms of filming style and use of language by the actors. Actually it ends by being a pastiche on an American soap. This is actually quite annoying. It is almost as if the film is dubbed. The mannerisms of an American soap, the hair cut of the leading actress, everything seems model on an American original. This is all done without any irony whatsoever. This I find annoying. It is as if the writer and director have no pride in their own craft. What would be wrong in making a European film? Why this mindless copying of an American style?

    Don't judge a movie by its IMDb rating. Since I had no real expectations whatsoever, I quite enjoyed watching this movie. And to be honest, it wasn't that good, but quite entertaining however.

    Spine twistingly anoying romance beetween the girl in the office and the malin character goes on one date one kiss and she gets insanly mad when she thinks he has a one night stand with someone else, he saying he loves het after that one date and the movie ending 6 months later pregnant with twins i wanna bang my head in a sawmill this is a cringe clishe
