Babysitter's Nightmare (2018) Reviews
frustrating lack of logic in the character's behavior
I'm yelling at the TV screen, "Oh, COME OOONNN!" The actor's did their best with the script they were handed.
Literally...no.
There were some good scares in this movie but as someone in the medical field I can't over look the glaring medical errors. Just no. Don't tackle real diseases if you don't know how they work. :( For starters...Type I diabetics don't get "cheat days" and you don't treat hypoglycemia with more insulin.
Good scenes plus bad scenes equal mediocre movie.
Babysitters Nightmare. Who says "Hello" to someone sitting down in a restroom stall? Other than Kaci, does every woman have to look alike? The murder victim in the beginning looked exactly like the blonde nurse and the mother. Maybe it's the same actress used in several roles to save money. Granted, they look good, but is it not possible to find brunettes or women with shorter hair? Too many times someone was overly startled by someone else. So much so even the cleaning lady said, "We've got to stop doing this". How right she was! The girls needed Kevin McCallister in that house. About that stupid fight scene in the kitchen...geez. And make sure you only hit the criminal with the teapot once. Two times might hurt. That's a common theme in this movie and almost every other movie. But I admire the way the perpetrator was finally subdued at the end. Despite all my complaints, and all the other complaining user reviews, these lousy movies hold our interest because we still love to watch them.
Lifetime needs to abandon this type of horror genre
Boring boring boring then quick easy conclusion. Lifetime has to stop pushing into this genre of slasher horror story. Without many thrills or chills what's the point? The lead actress is alright, so are the other cast members. But characters are under developed. Don't bother.
Lots of fun! Felt like a classic horror flick.
An enjoyable hour and a half - it's not by far the most extraordinary movie that Lifetime has ever done ("A Father's Nightmare" being my personal favorite as it was beautifully written), but this movie brought me back some nostalgia for those classic horror flicks with not too deep plots but a fun load of cheap thrills.
