A Bond for Life: How James Bond Changed My Life (2016) Reviews
Unusual but passionate achievement
I saw this film at the Cinestrange Filmfestival and was worried about the runtime at first. But the 2 hrs are well worth it as the film has a wonderful narrative style. I also loved the look of the film with the many locations and the occasional use of black and white footage. Loved the interviews with the many guest stars...being a die-hard Hannibal fan, the one with Mads Mikkelsen was of course my favorite :) I was very surprised that the film was made with very little money but instead with a high level of competence and artistic vision. It must have been a painstaking process to put all of it together and make it tell a story. This again shows that independent films can really be great entertainment. It is an unusual film made with love and passion, not strictly focused on Bond for 2 hrs which I thought was a good thing. When you have a chance to see it somewhere, I highly recommend it!
